A Great Self-Image … The Easy Way!
May 16th, 2006 | By Rachit Dayal | Category: MotivationOh yeah … and on friday, I did something interesting and many of you will find it quite funny.
I was reading “Psycho-Cybernetics” … the self-image psychology that seems like the forefather of NLP … and something struck about self-motivation.
I see myself as a hunk, powerful, confident guy. But physically I’m fairly skinny. Kinda incongruent, isn’t it?
Also, I’m regularly working out but haven’t seen the physical changes I’d like.
And I’m kinda unable to visualize a new me … visualization isn’t my favourite thing to do.
So, I figured out an easy way to do this … if I want a great self-image … I’m gonna visualize it!
So, I photoshopped a great smiling face of mine … on a body builder! It looks pretty good … now I know what I’ll look like after six months of working out. And I can find a congruent image with my self-image
And no … I will not release that photo to the public … it’s kinda embarrassing
