Google AdWords is making huge changes under the hood as we speak. A few minutes ago, they announced a brand new interface at the SES NY. It’s been in internal testing for several months, and some agencies in the UK have been testing it since Feb. It’s Ajaxy, and very much like the desktop software [...]

Okay, time to congratulate me – I just got another certification from Google! (Okay, if you’re not my biggest fan – the first one was the AdWords Qualification back in 2005)
I’m now a Qualified Analytics Individual, which basically means I’ve gone through a pretty rigorous training to set up, understand and analyze Google Analytics for [...]

January 2009 was an anniversary for two important things – the 5th anniversary of my entry into Online Marketing – and the 3rd anniversary of setting up my consulting & services business.
This is a special post to recount my journey from 2004 till today – and thank my clients – the people whose trust made it possible for me to come so far and continue loving what I do.

Last month, I got interviewed by India Se magazine on a feature on Young Entrepreneurs. It’s not terribly enlightening on the marketing side of things, but it was a fun interview.
You can download the PDF “India Se” of the article by clicking here, or click here to view the Flash version of the interview on this site.

Last friday, one of my personal hero passed away. He wasn’t a marketer, an entrepreneur or a motivator. Still, Time magazine did put him in the list of “100 Most Powerful People In The World” in 2008.
This man was Tim Russert. There are many reasons why I loved staying up on Sunday night (here in Singapore), to watch “Meet The Press” at midnight. But one reason stood clear … I wanted to watch a Giant at work.
Before I sign off, here are 7 lessons I learnt from Tim Russell …

Saturday was a very interesting day – I was judging business plans at Startup @ Singapore 2008. S@S is a business plan competition that allows young entrepreneurs to put their bright ideas into a plan, and if its good – earn about $30,000 in prize money to get it started.
In this article, you’ll find overviews of all the business plans I judged, and my own tips for what makes a competition-winning business plan (Hint – the criteria is quite different from a successful business).

Do you remember the great scene from The Matrix, when Neo meets a little kid who’s bending spoons?
A couple of weeks ago, some friends of mine had gone for a spoon bending class here (Singapore) and they came back to show off their spoons. At that point I started believing that if they could do [...]

Here’s a very simple test to see if you’re using your right brain more … or your left brain. I found the awesome graphic at news.com.au here …

Some of us want $$$. Others want love/sex. Still others want health & happiness. And we all work hard to keep getting better and better.
Some of us read books, exchange our lessons with other junkies. Others go to events, put the lessons into practice and experience the transformations [...]

I originally started this thread – because about 10 months ago, I heard some crazy sex stories from a biker chick.
When this biker chick told me her stories – my mouth was half hanging. Such explicit details!
(Actually, that might have been the inspiration for the candidness I show in my posts …)
Over time, I kept [...]
