This man was Tim Russert. There are many reasons why I loved staying up on Sunday night (here in Singapore), to watch “Meet The Press” at midnight. But one reason stood clear … I wanted to watch a Giant at work.
Before I sign off, here are 7 lessons I learnt from Tim Russell …

The following was a speech I gave last night at Pungol Toastmasters Club …
It stemmed from my own experience last weekend, where I took an impromptu visit to Malaysia. At 11PM at night, I took a bus to JB bus stop. Found the next bus to Kuala Lumpur. And wasted one crazy day in [...]

This is going to be a multinational post.
I started writing it from my home in Bangalore, India. The bulk of the stuff is being written here at Bangalore Airport. and on flight SQ503. And by the time I get Internet access to publish this, I’m going to be back at the office in Singapore
Long [...]

This will be a tiny post (although I AM itching to blog about my new job, my existing internet businesses, NLP coach training and some awesome sex stories!)
Over at Calvin’s blog, there’s an interesting discussion going on about “Would You Rather Be Happy? Or Rich?”
You can head over to read it there … but here’s [...]

Honey, I’m home!
Yep, I know I’m been away for a long long time … I missed you too.
The reason I’m away is that I’ve taken a new job. Well, technically I’m a consultant and it’s a consulting relationship … but the client prefers me to work 9 to 7 … so it feels totally [...]

Before I begin, let me get the usual rants out of the way. Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
(If you live outside of Singapore, then you ought to know that it’s the start of the new year for chinese - and it’s the year of the pig. We had a very long weekend, Saturday to Tuesday [...]

3 Quick Things … Random Updates, POE & Daddy Talk
1. Random Thoughts …
In the middle of writing this post, I went down to pick up dinner. Now, near my office there’s two kinds of eating places. There’s the ordinary working man “Food Court”. And there’s a Ah-Beng “Food Centre”
I didn’t really know the difference in [...]

I have two friends - A & B.
A & myself go to a class conducted by B. Be is an unusual character. For strangers, he is rude, obnoxious and meaningless. For his friends, he is the greatest inspiration of life’s wisdom … seriously.
Over the past weekend, I was talking to friend A. In one [...]

What a stupid, gloomy morning! I woke up in the morning at 830, and I saw both my roomies had left for office/school already! And I was hoping to be the first one. Grrr …
Then, I pulled up the blinds and it was raining like mad! Damn, stupid rain … depressing me early in the [...]

American scientists just found the first evidence that Elephants can recognize themselves in the mirror. For us humans, that doesn’t sound like a big deal, right?
But in the animal kingdom, that’s a very unique gift to have! Only humans, apes, dolphins and (now) elephants can look in the mirror and see themselves. All other animals [...]

“This is gonna be a quick blog … I’m on a coffee break between a meeting”
Have you ever felt out of place?
Ever looked around you and seen many people … but just not related to them?
Ever felt like you were meant for something greater than the ordinary people around you?
Yet, at other times … when [...]

Oh yeah … and on friday, I did something interesting and many of you will find it quite funny.
I was reading “Psycho-Cybernetics” … the self-image psychology that seems like the forefather of NLP … and something struck about self-motivation.
I see myself as a hunk, powerful, confident guy. But physically I’m fairly skinny. Kinda incongruent, isn’t [...]
